Bring Biology to Cancer Survivorship

CIHR Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) is seeking existing cancer survivorship researchers and those from other disciplines who are new to this field to participate in an in-person workshop on “Bringing Biology to Cancer Survivorship” on March 31-April 1, 2025, in Vancouver, BC. We are seeking experts in any of the following research areas, whose expertise could be applicable to the area of cancer survivorship:

  • Ageing
  • Biological and molecular sciences
  • Cardiology
  • Data science and bioinformatics
  • Epidemiology
  • Indigenous Peoples’ health
  • Microbiome
  • Neuroscience, psychology and psychiatry

  • Nutrition and exercise sciences

  • Oncology
  • Pediatric and young adults
  • Rehabilitation sciences
  • Reproductive and sexual health
  • Respiratory health

Researchers interested in participating in this workshop should submit an expression of interest via the survey links below by February 3, 2025. Costs associated with travel and accommodation for the workshop will be covered by ICR.
